Golfing with a Greater Purpose

"What we lacked in talent [and functioning cannon], we made up for with teamwork!"

The VentureSource golf team recently took second place at the 5th annual Team BeBetter golf outing, helping raise more than $40,000 in support of local mental health services.

The weather was perfect, the company was great, and while Caleb’s performance at the "cannon" hole won't be making any highlight reels, the rest of the team made up for it.

Founded by Steve and  Jill Miskelley, Team Be Better is a local west-Michigan nonprofit providing family-centered mental health education, consultation, navigation services, and advocacy. Their impact extends far beyond the current behavioral health system and makes a meaningful difference for local families.
